This Privacy Policy explains what information LocalFrame (“we”, “us”) collects when you use localframe.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are based in British Columbia, Canada, and handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information you give us

We only collect what you type into our forms or our chat widget. Depending on which you use, that can include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name and industry
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • Your existing website address
  • The plan you are interested in
  • Anything you write in a message or chat

You do not need to give us any of this to read the site. It is only collected when you choose to contact us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records some technical information automatically:

  • IP address and approximate region
  • Browser and device type
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and the link or search that brought you here
  • Whether you interacted with the chat widget

Cookies and third-party services

We use a small number of third-party tools. Each one may set cookies or collect usage data under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic and behaviour reporting.
  • Meta Pixel — measures whether an ad led to a visit, and supports advertising audiences.
  • LeadConnector / HighLevel chat widget — runs the chat bubble and stores what you send through it.
  • Leadsy visitor tag — identifies business-level visitor activity.
  • Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • Stripe — processes payments. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Calendly — books calls you schedule with us.
  • Cloudflare — hosts and serves the site.

You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some measurement will stop.

How we use your information

We use it to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
  • Deliver and support the services you have hired us for
  • Send service-related messages about your account or project
  • Understand which pages and search terms bring people to the site so we can improve it
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

Text messages and phone numbers

If you give us your phone number, we may contact you by phone or text about your enquiry or your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to communicate with you about your enquiry or your project, and is shared only with the service providers who help us deliver those messages.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not buy or sell contact lists. We share information only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and only where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Some of these providers are located outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in other countries, including the United States, under the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact plus a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick the conversation back up. Client records are kept for as long as we provide the service, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop contacting you, at any time

Email localframeservices@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable precautions we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or tools change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
